A-C

AMY ERICKSON - What amazes me is that some of the people still look exactly thesame! Shelli Barney, Vince Lobato, Diane Brimhall, Annalisa Anderton and Dana Lauritzen....you haven't changed.
I am single and currently live in Toquerville, Utah and have an empty nest. My oldest daughter, Brittany is 21 and lives in Wyoming with her fiance, Chandee (19) lives in SLC, and Danielle (17) is in Northern Utah finishing school. I have two step children, ShaiLynn (25) and Kevin (23) both in SLC. I am a grandma which freaks me out! Brittany has a 1 year old and ShaiLynn has a 3 year old. There is a reason I had my children early...I don't have the patience in my old age.
I am an insurance auditor/safety inspector and try not to work full-time so I can enjoy life a bit. In the past I have worked for different companies mainly as executive assistants. I spend my fun time traveling, swimming, relaxing at my family's cabin in Kamas, taking photos and writing. I have published a few books, which can be seen at www.lulu.com/diva3. I love to cook and scrapbook too. I don't have a current photo of me and all the kids, but I created one that I think is great.
I have been catching up with a lot of alumni on Facebook (username Diva1). I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!! I wish you all many successes and blessings in life.
How Swede It Is!

ANNALISA (ANDERTON) "soon to be Holcomb!"
- I agree with everyone that it is hard to believe 20 years has gone by. I feel like I practically spent the first 10 of those years in college – undergrad took 5 and law school another 3 years. But I finally finished and what was the first thing I did? Had a baby and didn’t want to work that hard!! Actually Breanna is 10 years old and I think she’s amazing. Her Dad and I divorced when she was really little and since then it has been Bree and I against the world! I love hanging out with her (maybe because she gets my humor). We’ve had to compromise – I’ve learned to like the Jonas Brothers and Aly & AJ, but she learned to like B-52’s, Oingo Boingo, and the Beastie Boys (okay, she can only listen to their G rated songs). She is about to enter 5th grade at Uintah Elementary School.

After law school I worked as a divorce & family law attorney. In fact, a few times I either represented or met with some of our classmates or their family members in my practice (but I’ll never tell who or any of the juicy stories I heard). I also did some child protection work. I kept trying to find happiness in my career and it wasn’t working. I didn’t want to be 65 and say that I helped to divorce 5,000 couples, you know? But, a few years ago I was the chair of the alumni association at Westminster College. The President of the College took note of the work I was doing, and asked me to come to work for him. Now I am incredibly happy with my career! I get to basically create my own path at the College. I am a member of the senior leadership team and my most recent title is Director of Community & Board Relations. I’m not sure what I’m doing, but figuring it out (and having that kind of freedom) is half the fun! In addition to my work with the community, I also coach the mock trial team, run a mentoring program, and teach classes. Yep, I am now Professor Anna. Life takes interesting turns (20 years ago I was a freshman at Westminster, and now I’m helping to run the place), but I’ve never been more happy.

I love reading about everyone and it’s great to see so many other classmates who seem to be really happy in their lives, too. I’m excited to see everyone. Big thanks to those of you who brought this all together!!

ANN-MARIE (MORRIS) BECK - Twenty? That means I graduated when I was 10! Well, here's the 411... I met my future hubby when I was a picture-taking elf at Christmas break from USU. He was Santa's son. We married in 1991. He's a man of many talents and currently he works one week at home and one week on the road selling asphalt machines. He also has a NASCAR talk show on 1320 KFAN here in Salt Lake. Thanks to him, I still maintain my status as domestic goddess. We live in South Jordan with our 3 kids. Nick, 14, is a sports machine going into the 9th grade. He was on the both jr. high basketball teams last year and is getting ready to start football again. Camille, 11, is total sunshine who loves to sing and act and anything Disney. Shantell is 5 and slightly wild. (She's not--I'm just probably worn out by now!) She'll be starting kindergarten this year. My life revolves around them for now and that's just fine with me. I long for adult conversation, so please look me up and I hope to see you soon! becksdeals@hotmail.com

ANTHONY BOCCHINO - I have stayed close to home. I live in South Jordan and have been in Real Estate and Development for 14 years. My wife Michelle is from Southern California. We were set up on a blind date by Lyn Maynes. I owe him BIG time! We have been married for almost 15 years. I had to pull my best sales talents to land her and have been grateful for every second since. We have four amazing children. Nicholas 9, Macy 7 and our twin baby girls Ellie and Brooklyn 3. Nicholas loves soccer, baseball, and skiing. Macy loves dance, tumbling and swimming. Ellie is just like mommy. She is sweet, gentle and kind. She is always smiling, loves animals and is a joy. Brooklyn is a little brunette, and unfortunately takes after daddy's Italian side. She is feisty, always telling a story and if you get her upset, everyone is running. (Including Dad). My kids love watching movies with dad. They all pack on the love sack, kiss my cheeks off and eat popcorn. We are passionate boaters. We love to wakeboard, spend warm evenings together on the boat and let the sun set while we hang out. Our favorite lake is Lake Mead. Looking forward to the reunion. anthony_bocchino@msn.com

BABETT (STONE) SHEWELL - 20 years, man are we old or what!? Well at least my teenage daughter thinks we are. Mallory, currently goes to Taylorsville and is amazed that the school and we have all been around so long. Remember those days? When 30 seemed so old, now we are all almost 40. AHHH!
I was married to
the man of my dreams and my best friend in 1990, Rick. Our first daughter was born in 1992 and her sister followed in 1996. Miranda is the younger one. Yes I know, they are the M&M sisters. Their uncle affectionately calls them that. We live only 1 mile away from where I grew up and my parents still live. My husband is always teasing me that I really never left home. My life has not been super exciting other then my wonderful kids.
I want to mention that
when I was 19 I had an accident and lost quite a bit of my memory. So at the reunion, if you know me, please come talk to me. But don't be hurt if I don't remember you. Sometimes if someone starts to tell me a story of the past, I can get little sparks of memory. It would be nice if you could help me fill in some blank spots. Would welcome emails from anyone who remembers me babettshewell@msn.com

BRAD TIPPETTS - After graduation I continued to work at Stick 'em Up at the Valley Fair Mall and was soon promoted to manager, but I new that I needed to aspire for greater things. I started to attend Salt Lake Community College in the fall that year to pursue a career in drafting and engineering. After about one year of attending and paying for college, I decided to enlist in the Air Force Reserve to help pay for college and to fulfill a childhood dream. I completed basic training and a drafting/surveying program. A month after I returned, I met my future wife Holly of nearly 17 years. I worked several odd jobs while going to school, but decided drafting wasn't in my future. The following year, Holly and I were married and living on a shoe-string budget. She really brought out the best in me, including getting back to church. I finally landed a half-decent job at Franklin Covey around the time our first daughter Sidney was born. We also purchased our first home from my Dad, the one in Taylorsville that I had grown up in. A couple of years later, I left my family for 4 months to cross-train in my military career as a firefighter. About a year later my second daughter Madison was born. I was hired for a promising career with Union Pacific Railroad as a switchman/brakeman and was later promoted to brakeman/conductor. Unfortunately, being laid-off four times in two years took its toll. Things started to improve after our family was finally able to be sealed in the LDS temple. I was blessed with a great and steady job at Tooele Army Depot as a firefighter. I've been working there for nearly eight years now and was recently promoted to captain. After the tragedies of 9-11, I was militarily activated for one year, which included a deployment to Saudi Arabia. After I returned, we moved to a larger home in Grantsville, Utah in the Tooele Valley. This got me closer to work, and out of the congested city. Last fall, I was activated again and spent about 4 months in Kirkuk, Iraq. I now have over 19 years in the reserves and hold the position of Deputy Fire Chief and the rank of Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). Like most firefighters I know, I also have a part-time job, this one at Miller Motorsports Park on the Crash/Rescue Team. My wife, Holly also works with me there on occasion. My family enjoys attending Utah Grizzlies hockey games, 4-wheeling the mountains nearby, and taking family vacations. My hobbies include playing ice hockey and collecting classic vehicles. (I haven't been able to find the time or money to actually restore any of them yet). I also follow the Jazz like most people in Utah. Holly runs a day care out of our home and she is also a summer camp activity counselor for Tooele City. Her favorite hobby is party planning and decorating. She also enjoys attending Bon Jovi and Tim McGraw concerts whenever she can. Sidney and Madison are both better students than I ever was. This has made parenting easy for Holly and me. I'm sure the challenges are yet to come as they continue to climb into their teenage years. Sidney enjoys horseback riding and surfing the 'net. She plans to become a veterinarian (She really has a thing for animals). Madison enjoys acting and singing (even though she is quite shy). She wants to be some kind of performer when she grows up. --- I look forward to seeing you all again!

BRANNON MURPHY - I worked in the custom cabinet industry from the time I was 18 to when I was 33. Now I have a really good job working in the IT industry. I do a little IT work. Mostly I do cabling for new suites. I set up the telecommunication. I tried comedy but I lost confidence. I've been playing music for a while but haven't been in a band for four years. Now I just try to write music in my home studio.

BRYAN J. MCANALLY - I can't believe it's been 20 years! My how time flies when you are having fun! I moved to Missouri my senior year, sadly leaving everyone at T-Ville behind. Boy did I give my parents a hard time (the irony of this comes later)!! I graduated from Fox Senior High in Arnold Missouri and joined the Army Reserves. After basic training I moved back to SLC for a while until I decided to go active duty. I spent 5 great years in the military, traveling to Europe and the Middle East during the first Gulf War. I was then assigned to Ft. Riley Kansas, yes Kansas. I met my first wife there and we moved back to Utah after I left the military. We had a beautiful daughter Katie in 1994. We divorced, she moved to Denver and I stayed in Utah with my daughter. I soon met my adorable wife-to-be Jamie. Careful of the blunders made in my first marriage we didn't marry for seven years until 2001. Jamie and our combined 3 kids are the joys of my life. I've truly found happiness. Here's the irony, our son is a senior in high school and I was recently transferred to guess where?? That's right Missouri! I've since called my parents and apologized for the grief I gave them back in 1988..haha. Good luck to everyone and I wish you all the best in life.

CARO (JONES) AGUILAR - I remember in high school thinking that 20 years seemed like it was so far off, and that being 40 seemed so old!!! Well, almost 40 anyways, and it’s not so old! My cousin just graduated this year from T.Ville- Sr. Class President! How time flies! Nine days after graduation I moved to sunny southern California, and 20 years later I’m still here! About 9 months after moving to CA, I began going to a Christian church that I fell in love with, and became a part of the singles group. It was there that I met my husband Gus, and we were married in May 1991. We began our family in 1997 with the birth of our oldest daughter Gabrielle (Gabi) who is 11 and going into the 6th grade- Jr. High. In 2000 welcomed our daughter Michaella (sounds like Ma-kay-la) who is 8 going into 3rd grade. Gabi loves art and music. Michaella is our social butterfly and loves to be active (sound like anyone you remember?!). Our family was extended and our hearts open wide when I was reunited a few years ago with my oldest daughter Melissa, who is 20 and is starting her 2nd year of college.
I have worked as an event planner for the past 15 years, currently working as a corporate event planner for a Medicare HMO. Gus is an O.R. tech for a hospital and health plan, and has been in his field for 20 years. I’d welcome your emails if you’d like to get in touch with me @ clutzymomof3@yahoo.com.

CHRISTINE (PECK) HARDY - I'm still trying to convince myself that 20 years has really gone by. Someone just wake me up! Inside I still feel like that girl from high school but when I look in the mirror... not so much. Time really does have a way of creeping up. My mothers moisturizer cream now resides in MY medicine cabinet.
The only things I can gather that happened are...
After High School I wanted to repent of my truancies so I attended LDS Business College and then after my guilt had gone, I transferred to SLCC and graduated with a paralegal degree. Being Educated is such a wonderful feeling, I thought, I'm going to use my education and get myself a job! Well, I wound up in COURT! I began working for the 3rd District Court in Salt Lake January of 1991. You could say, I went to court for 13 years.
Funny things happen when you least expect it, I started going to a singles ward back in 1994 and I met my wonderful husband, Martin in a singles ward of all places. Poor guy, I told him I'd marry him but he would have to wait a year. He made it the year and we later married in April of 1996. In the meantime I transferred to the West Valley District Court and I was able to work with 4 different judges in my time there. Apartment living is not for me, so we packed up our meager possessions and we bought our first home in West Jordan and lived there for 9 years. 9 years, was a neighborhood record in the starter home neighborhood we were the old folks! At the end of that 9 years we welcomed 2 dogs and 2 children. Our daughters are Mackay (7) and Emma (3). Right after Emma came we knew we needed a little more space and decided to give up our reign of "old folks". My husband attended school most of the first years of our marriage. He has worked for the Davis School District since 1997. He has a Master's Degree in Educational Counseling and then he received his Administrative Endorsement in 2005. So up North we headed. We have now planted our roots in Syracuse Utah. Martin is an Asst Principal at a Jr High School and I am now working from home and taking care of 3 kids. Some people say "It's in the water, well if that is the case the water is mighty fine up here because, one year after moving we welcomed a little boy, Jacob (15 months). I have enjoyed being home with them and being a part of their daily lives. Mackay will be starting 2nd grade soon. She loves to dance and play soccer. I am amazed at how smart she is. I don't remember knowing what she knows so early in school. I can tell she's going to out smart me here soon. Emma just turned 3 and she is really good at being 3 if you know what I mean. She keeps us on our toes. She loves to color and play with dolls. I think her favorite thing to do is torment her sister and her brother. This is all paybacks from Martin's evil childhood because I was a saint! She will be starting preschool this year and we are all looking forward to it. ha ha Jacob is, well he is still a baby. He is very busy and I think the most handsome boy out there. Our children have been our greatest blessing. It took awhile to get them here but it has been worth the wait. I am really looking forward to the reunion. I am in denial that it is already here. I don't feel old enough to have a 20 year, somebody wake me up! If you would like to reconnect my e-mail is disneylandorbust@comcast.net See you all in a few weeks.

CHRISTY (EVENSON) WHITING - Hi everyone!! I am in shock and disbelief that it has been twenty years since we graduated from high school. It has been great catching up with some of you through this blog site. During my second year at BYU, a friend I danced with set me up with her brother when he returned home from his mission. She quickly became my sister-in-law. Todd and I have been married for 18 amazing years. We have 5 great kids. Matthew is 13 and loves lacrosse, wakeboarding and is a fabulous student. Garrett is 11 and loves golf, snowboarding and is an awesome soccer player. Blakeley is 8 and is a wonderful dancer and gymnast. Kate is 4 and never stops singing. Tyler is almost 2 and is our little comedian. We have lived in Alpine, Utah for the past 8 years. We love it here and have enjoyed being close to family. We lived previously in Champaign, Illinois where Todd attended medical school at the University of Illinois. We also lived in Phoenix, Arizona when he was in residency. We love boating in Lake Powell in the summer and skiing/snowboarding in the winter. I still like to dance, but my dancing takes place mostly in my kitchen. I look forward to seeing you at the reunion.

CHRISTY (HENNESSY) PLANT
- It's hard to believe so much time has passed since we all gathered in the commons area. What about all the stomps, dances and games? Seems like yesterday....
I have been married for 12 years. We have two of the cutest daughters, Monica 10 and Marisa 8. There is nothing but Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers playing at our house. But once in awhile I crank up my Black Label Society and Disturbed to drown it out. We live in South Jordan and truly love it here. I work in a pediatric dental office. Do love my job but there are some days that drive me crazy. But who doesn't have those days! I have worked in the dental field for 15 years now. Much prefer working in pediatrics more than general dentistry. I am a avid runner. I have completed 5 marathons in the past 2 1/2 years. My goal is to do 5 more by the time I reach 40. But I'm sure I will not stop there. I am currently training for Salt Lake Marathon in April. Would love to get under 4 hours. My best time is 4 hours 4 minutes achieved in Las Vegas December 2007. I have great friends and enjoy spending time with them when I'm not running of course. It will be nice to see and hear from all of you in the future. Keep in touch!
cplant12@msn.com

CINDY (EVANS) BUCKLEY -Wow! I can't believe it's been 20 years! I'm so excited to see everyone at our 20 year reunion!
I've been married for 18 years to a great guy that actually grew up in a little town called Cokeville, Wyoming (population 400)! Merrill had 13 people in his graduating class compared to our 600 something! We live in West Jordan with our 4 beautiful kids. Shelby is my only girl and she is 15 and in ninth grade at Sunset Ridge Middle School, she loves volleyball and as soon as the school she is at starts a sports program she will be all over that. James is 13 and will be starting 7th grade. I can't seem to keep him away from a basketball and that's pretty much his life. Brayden is 9 and is my quiet, shy one. He loves to play video games and not play but "hang out" with his friends. Last but definitely not least is Parker he is 4 (going on 15) he is the talker and socializer of our family. He loves cars and semi-trucks and he is quite the kid!
I worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 15 years and then they decided to do away with the area I was in so I became a stay at home mom.
I'm considering going to Massage Therapy School in the fall so we will see how that works out but for now I love spending time with my family. They keep me busy and that's just great!
Merrill owns an excavation company and pretty much does anything that could fall under that category. It's great to have the freedom and time to do what he wants.
That's about it right now! I'm excited to see those that come to our reunion and visit with everyone!
*Cindy*

CONNIE (BOUCK) SERNA -My major life accomplishment has been raising four children (successfully, so far!). My oldest, Andrew, graduated a technical training program with a high school diploma and certification in welding. He is now proudly serving our country in the Armed Forces. Currently, he's in Afghanistan, and I pray every day for his safety. He and his wife have the most adorable baby boy in the whole world, 'Barr' none! My second, Ann Mariah works at a medical supply company. She wants to go to college for interior design, and possibly move to L.A. Or not; she married her sweetheart on May 9, 2008, and they are (more or less) settled in West Valley City for now. Typical of her socialite personality, she made an absolutely stunning bride. My third, Emily, is a a lifeguard at a community center. She and her long-time sweetheart were married on June 6, 2008. They'll go away to college in the fall. She hopes to become an elemetary school teacher. Another of her life goals is to raise a family. A noble ambition! My youngest, Adam, started junior high in 2007-2008. He has a quick mind, and an insatiable curiousity about how things work. He lives for Legos, and hopes to become an engineer. I currently work as a Sales Development Rep at a software company in Draper. I also write fiction, and hope to be published someday soon. But it hasn't all been rosey. I lost my soulmate, the love of my life, to a drunk driver in 1999. The loss shook me to the core: I cut my hair (yes! my HAIR!) and kept it shockingly short for a time, got a tattoo, and changed my name (call me Charlee). I guess it was just my way of moving on. I've now realized I'll never be 'over' it, but I've learned to cope and function. My life has been a series of ups and downs, and I never would have guessed in high school how it has turned out. I'm such a different person now than I was then. Aren't we all?

D-G

DANA (LAURITZEN) DOW - Hey there fellow class of '88 T-ville grads! It's been a while since I've seen most of you...20 years to be exact, but It's been great fun reading your updates and seeing the photos of you and your families. You all look fabulous! Thanks so much to all of you that have taken the time to put this blog site and reunion together. It's great! Good Job! As for me, life is good. It has been real adventure since leaving the blue carpeted halls of T-ville. Here is a brief update.
After graduation I attended BYU and the U of U where I studied Dance and French. I served a mission to Bordeaux, France. I married the love of my life, Tyler Dow, another T-ville grad, and we have two amazing kids: Kayla, almost 14 and Nate, 12. We've lived in Tulsa, OK where Tyler attended law school, Fort Lauderdale, FL where Tyler got additional schooling, and Orlando, FL. We moved our family back to the mountains of Utah (Heber City) two years ago. We don't love the freezing winters, but we do love being close to family, seeing old friends, hiking, camping and especially waterskiing in lakes without having to keep an eye out for gators.
I'm excited to see you all soon!

DAVID BYTHEWAY
- Twenty years!!! In some ways it doesn't seem that long ago in others it seems like a lifetime ago. Jody and I just celebrated our twentieth anniversary. We will be going to Disney World in September without the kids. We are still high school sweethearts and I love her more today than I did twenty years ago. We now live in South Jordan after moving around Utah a little bit. As the regional sales manager for a transportation company I get the opportunity to travel extensively around the western United States. It is always nice to come back home to Utah.
We have six children, thats right six children, I know I never would have guessed it myself. Zackary is 19 and is currently serving a full-time mission in the Tennessee Nashville Mission. Joshua is 17 and is going into his senior year at Bingham High School. He has participated in multiple sports and is a Madrigal for the second year. Brooke is 14 and enjoys playing the piano. She is a great student and takes great care of her younger siblings. Jake is 9 and just started 4th grade. He has a great sense of humor and has many friends. Hannah is 6 and just started 1st grade. She is a very happy girl and enjoys all types of dance. Ammon is 18 months old is definitely the caboose. He enjoys the attention of being the youngest.

It is great to see how far we have all come. See you all in a few weeks.

DAVID RILEY
- After a long and arduous relationship with my BFF (Hint: his initials are A.S. and he kicked me out because of a little weight gain and some lost hair), I married a girl (Krista) from West Jordan (I know it has the same tone as “New Jersey”). We have two kids, Mikale (10) and Andrew (6). We’ve spent the last 10 years in California working for Boeing designing components for satellites (sounds better than it was). I just took a job that brought us back to Utah with ATK working on the new rocket that will replace the shuttle (again sounds better than it is). My daughter loves to dance and takes classes with Meredith’s daughter (be careful, I may have to pull a Tonya Harding if your daughter is better than mine). My son loves all sports and has much more talent than his old man (in fact, he kind of looks like the mailman who’s an ex-NFL player, hmmm). That’s about it. It will be great seeing everyone again now that we’re back. dhriles@aol.com

(SYDNEY) DAWN (HALL) KEITH - Life is a short but brilliant experience! Why do things like everyone else, why not change your name? For the last eight years I have been going by the name of Sydney Dawn H. Keith (which I feel really fits me better than Dawn Hall, it’s so blah, but you can still call me “Dawn Hall”). The last 18 years I have been in the Entertainment Industry traveling back and forth weekly from LA California as an Artistic Director/Choreographer and Key Note Speaker. I usually gig, create, choreograph, and artistically direct national tours for recording artists, music videos, commercials, films, good will projects and events. I own a recording studio in Hollywood California along with an sdhk2 Feminine Funk Crew. I’m in the process of developing a national All Feminine Tour that will showcase and promote the brilliance and abilities of every day women and girls across our country, along with the Miracle House Retreat project that takes high risk, underprivileged teens and gives them hands on opportunities to experience what the world has to offer them. I have loved the opportunity of taking in high risk teens and assisting them in finding their meaning and brilliance in life.
My husband, David Keith and I recently built our new home up Emigration Canyon, and look forward to building many more. David is a Business Broker and truly deserves a high five. He always supports every idea I have, and you guessed it my ideas always alter our lives greatly! The most difficult gig I have ever had, but wouldn’t change a thing, is having 2 beautiful daughters! Jordyn our 2 year old, really has NO interest in the art of negotiating and Skyllar our 6 year old, well she’s 6. Both are highly intelligent, talented and have a wonderful sense of humor. You name it, they are involved in it, because isn’t opportunity, gratitude and education the name of the game?
I apologize, having been in the industry for 18 years you would think I would have a family picture. I have attached everyone’s picture individually, but I don’t know if they will all be attached with the bio. If I haven’t bored you to death, please feel free to go to www.myspace.com/sydneymusicmedia or http://www.sydneydawnhkeith.com/ to see the pics of my beautiful family. I’VE MISSED YOU ALL……SEE YOU SOON…..

DIANE BRIMHALL
- WOW!!! 20 years already. I can't wait to see everyone again!!!
I have 2 kids. Austin (15) and Molly (12). They are both actors and have appeared in both TV and radio commercials as well as Disney Channel movies and movies you may have seen in theaters. We've been able to rub shoulders with famous actors like Anthony Hopkins, Cuba Gooding Jr., Fred Savage and Henry Thomas (Elliot from ET). I'm a domestic engineer. I've tried a little acting myself but I am much more comfortable being off set sitting close to the snack table. That brings me to my other job, I've been a Jazzercise instructor for 15 years. I love it; it supports my eating habit. diane@thejepsons.org

H-J

HEIDI HANZON - I live in South Jordan with my son Jordan. He is 15 and will start this next year at Bingham. I work many jobs right now: I work for the Department of Health and then I own my own massage therapy business called HANZ-ON Massage. On the weekends in the summer I paint faces for my friend's children's party business. I run into people all the time from high school and I am so amazed we usually look the same... I'm currently not married just having fun being a soccer mom, cheerleader mom, chauffeur mom, scout mom. I would love to hear from everyone swmailto:swedescottiegirl@gmail.com Hope to see everyone at the 20 year reunion; we are working hard to make it very memorable.

JA NAE (PETERSON) FARRINGTON - Wow I c
ould not believe it when I saw the marquee at THS for our reunion. Has it really been 20 years!!!! I stayed close to home. I went to BYU and then SLCC where I have my degree in Early Childhood Education, but I met the man of my dreams in 1990 and we have been married for 18 years. We were not able to have children of our own, but after a failed adoption 12 years ago, we finally got our little miracle in 2006. Christian was born premature and had lots of problems which led to a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy. He is the cutest little boy and I love being able to stay home and take care of him. My sweetie, Shawn, works for Boeing here in Salt Lake and we have lived in our home in West Jordan for 16 years. Look forward to seeing all of you.

JAMES WEBSTER - Ok, so I am finally getting around to writing something. Jim told me about the blog he started quite a while ago, but I have done a little procrastinating. Anyway, I moved to New York to go to school after graduating from HS. Quite a jump from living in SLC. I attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. There I met my wife (have been married for 15 years) and we both graduated with Fashion Design degrees. We have done a little moving around the country, mostly in cities with bigger clothing companies: San Francisco, New York and currently living in Seattle. We have three girls, Sydney (12), Mallie (9), and Kiah (7). (This is a very old family picture) My girls are a little bit tom boyish. All play fastpitch softball, soccer, a couple play basketball and kung Fu. My two youngest are now wanting to try roller derby. I have been coaching their softball and baseball teams and competing in triathlons in my spare time. I might have to give up on the goal of a sub 5hr half ironman with my aging body though. I’m looking forward to getting back to the reunion. Since I moved out of SLC pretty early, I haven’t really kept in touch with many people. Anyway, here is a website I set up a while ago for my family and yes it has been awhile since I updated it. I get a lot of grief from the 4 ladies. http://geocities.com/jweb6 Unfortunately the dread locks have gone. Another casualty of getting on in years. Talk to you later. James jameswebster@cablespeed.com

JASON WALKER - I have been married for 15 years, have 3 kids (Madison 10, Erin 7, Dallin 11 months) We just moved to Oregon in June with a promotion after living in SLC for the past 3 years. (we have moved around a bit while working for Sprint. Twin Falls, ID, Reno, NV, SLC and now Medford, OR)

JEFF WARD - Hi everyone! I’m hoping to crash the reunion. I graduated from Cottonwood High in ’88 but spent half of my high school years at T-ville (’86 and part of ’87) and suspect I know many of you from as far back as Calvin Smith Elementary (and, of course, Bennion Junior High). Lots of familiar names on the reunion planners’ list; I’ve also enjoyed reading everyone’s bio and seeing your current family pictures. Thanks so much for sharing. Also, a big “thanks in advance” to each of you on the reunion committee for all of your on-going organizational efforts on our behalf! What “I’ve been up to” the last twenty years. I graduated from UCSC (go, Banana Slugs!) in ‘92; my senior thesis was a novel, which was never published. After graduation, I wrote and directed two feature-length independent films but I’m grateful that neither one of those saw the light of day either as they were mediocre at best. In 1995, I moved to San Francisco where I worked for a video production company. I met my partner, Jessica Kolman here and she’s somehow been able to tolerate me for most of the past thirteen years (we rented an apartment in the lower Haight for eight years before buying a house in the east bay ~5 years ago. Two cats. No kids… yet). In 1996, I went back to school to get my California Teaching Credential at San Francisco State. I then taught briefly at two public high schools in San Francisco before deciding I wasn’t really cut out to be a teacher. I’ve spent the last ten years working for Macromedia and Adobe Systems. After a time, I was the Senior Worldwide Product Support Manager where I oversaw worldwide delivery of technical support for Flash, Dreamweaver, Director, etc. in twelve languages around the globe. I had about 200 employees under me, mostly outsourced agents who worked in Manila, Edinburgh, and Tokyo. I got to do a fair amount of international travel during this time period, which I enjoyed immensely. I severed ties with Adobe at the end of last year. Now I like to joke that I’m semi-retired though perhaps I’m still a bit too young for that? I’ve since done some freelance writing for a photo sharing website and I found it was fun to get paid to write. I’ve also started work on a documentary about arcade video game collectors; it’s been a real hoot traveling the country interviewing people who keep these old games alive in their garages and basements (I have a collection of about fifty of these old full-sized arcade games myself). I am also writing another novel. For fun, I like to paint, write songs on the guitar and, lately, I’ve been teaching myself how to cook. I also enjoy reading and listening to music. I’ll be in Salt Lake for a week later this month (July) and then hope to be back again at the end of Aug for the reunion. Drop me a line if you want to catch up. jeff@jeffvonward.com Until then!

JEANIE ELEY - its great to see everyone's pictures and hear about how your all doing, its amazing to see how far we have gone with our lives, as for twenty years.... well for me they went by so fast I didn't realize it, I'm more in shock that stephs daughter is 20 and that my daughter is about to enter high school! What about me?? well the year after high school I came out of the closet, what a breath of fresh air that was ,and started the process of finding myself and figuring out what to do with the rest of my life, it has been a roller coaster, its lows including a bad relationship of 7 years and its highs...well the ultimate high.. is my daughter, Shelby, who as I mentioned is starting high school in the fall and is the joy of my life. I have had many jobs during that time trying to find "the perfect job" and in my search found out that the perfect job for me was one that gives me time with my daughter and mom and lets me live comfortably, as it turns out the job was about 1/2 mile from my house at Home Depot, I'm in management and love working there. The other parts of my life are mostly me being single for 10 years now, taking care of my mom, a few close friends and the movies... the scarier the better. I won't be at the reunion but I just want to thank the people from high school that were there for me and let them know I think of them often, you know who you are. Good luck to everyone with their families and futures and remember to be kind and remember to say " I love you" to those important people in your life every day. Peace Out.

JENNIFER (CAMERON) BAY - It’s cliché, but
time flies and now the fun memories of High School are brought back to mind as I watch my kids go to High School. It’s so weird! I have been married to my best friend for nearly 18 years now. David is a criminal investigator for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS, if you’ve seen the TV show). It has let us live all over. We have lived in Virginia, where we met, Okinawa, Japan, Seattle, Washington, and now Chicago, Illinois, where we currently live. We have four great children. Cameron is 16 and a sophomore in High School. We have survived his getting a driver’s license and having and breaking up with his first girlfriend. He sings base in the choirs at school and seems to have a photographic memory. Amanda is 14 and a freshman at the same High School. She sings Soprano in the same choirs and is a brilliant student. Laura is 12 and is in 7th grade and sings like a bird, all the time, and just started running track. Austin is 11 and in the 5th grade. He plays the flute, and seems to have a natural knack for it. Cameron thinks this is a brilliant move as he’ll always sit with all the girls. I am a stay at home Mom and keep very busy with home, kids, Church, friends, and hobbies. I’m really looking forward to our reunion and would love to hear from anyone who would like to catch up! jenstampin@sbcglobal.net

JENNIFER (CHARLES) SCHICKLING - Good Afternoon to you all. I was excited to hear about the fun stuff that was happening with the students of 88'... and sorry I missed the reunion. I am looking and reading up all my friends and peoples lives since the high school, people look amazing I must say. We have two precious kids Darcin and Skylee. Darcin is now 19 and Skylee who is 16. They love to hang with their friends and Darcin went to Kearns High School and played very well on the Basketball Team and Football Team... he still loves to play these sport today as often as he can. Skylee is at Kearns now and loves to sing with her Concert Choir there... I am sure that those of you that was in our Concert Choir can agree that we all had some fun times and seeing her relive those times brings back the memories....

We both enjoy going to the gym and hanging with friends that we live by... hoping to gain some more along life's path. Also enjoy being with our kids, as you know that they grow so fast. It seems like every since high school life just flies by so fast and I remember the days as I am sure again you can agree with me of sitting in class and thinking life just drags... days at school drag. People need to "Stop and "smell the flowers along the way. I hope you all had a wonderful time at the reunion... =} Hope to see you all again at the next one.

JULIE (TERRY) JEWKES - I am so
excited to see people at the reunion! I appreciate all of the people who are working on the committee to make this a success! I just can't believe how twenty years have gone by so fast! After high school I had an opportunity to work at the Metropolitan Hall of Justice. I worked with court records and it taught me a lot, It's not there anymore but it sure was educational. I worked at Kami hair and at Realms of Inquiry (a private school). I then got married in 1994 and now have 5 children. I have a daughter who is 13 who is an artist and she loves to sing and has sung at different events. She also takes piano. She can also hear a song then can go right to the piano and play it. I have twin daughters who are 7 years old. They love to dance and love to draw. I have a son who is 4 years old who just started pre-school. He loves to dribble a basketball. He can dribble it anywhere! He loves to throw a ball! My husband started up a business www.p-d-d-r.com it is a high performance speed supplies pinewood derby business . He sells parts to help pinewood derby cars go fast and win! He was featured on channel 5 and also on CNN. He has races each month where people send in cars from Utah and nationwide. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion! I can hardly wait!

JULIA (HAYES) PEARCE
- What a ride it has been! I have known the bravest man for 19 years after being set up on a blind date encounter. Brandon and I have been married for 18 years and are settled into a fun little house not far from where I grew up. I have worked for the Granite School District for 12 years-working first with preschool children and now with a team of professionals who provide communication and technology supports to students in the Granite and Murray School Districts. We have one child, Dallin (17), who is a junior in high school. He is the stongest and most resilient kid I know. He thinks he owns the house and makes up the rules as we go along. He enjoys boating, mountain climbing, telling jokes, reading the newspaper, dancing, eating everything in sight and all things about the vacuum. I keep busy running, breathing, taking pictures of the every day fun, working with legislators and other advocates, and enjoying all the moments we get together. Our family has decided that the purpose of life is to laugh every day and hopefully until our cheeks hurt. The sign I read every morning says:'Things I need to do today: Breathe In - Breathe Out' Everything else is a bonus and adds to this amazing adventure. I am excited to see you all at the reunion and hope only the best for you and your families. Julia Hayes Pearce runnamokk@hotmail.com

KIM (IVIE) MCCRADY - We moved to Arizona about 8 years ago. We love it here. Our girls are Taylor (13) and Abbey (9). They are wonderful and prove to be our greatest accomplishment. It seems we are on the go all the time. (Just like everyone else with kids.) Life is good and we are very fortunate. We love to travel together as a family. Taylor is musical. She plays the piano beautifully and she also plays the violin in the Metropolitan Youth Symphony here in Phoenix. Abbey is our dancer and comedienne. She is a part of her dance studio's performance group and will be able to perform at Suns games, other various local events and Disneyland in the spring. Thank heavens for my parents, who moved here too. They help us get our kids here and there when we are working. We hope to catch up at the reunion next year. We wish everyone well and see you soon.

LISA (BUCCAMBUSO) MINGO - Wow! 20 years, I can’t believe it. Where do I begin? I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, Spencer Mingo. He served 11 years in the United States Army Signal Corp and moved here from Germany in February of 2000. Our first date was in April of 2000 and we were married in June of 2002.

We have 2 beautiful children. Hayden, our oldest, is almost 5 and loves to do anything daddy does. Fish, golf, hunt, snowmobile, you name it he does it. Oh, he is pretty dang smart too! Harper, our youngest is 18 months old and of course, she copies everything her big brother does. We think she is going to be a handful! Get the shotgun out!

We are very fortunate to have them both, thanks to Dr. Heiner and his staff at the Reproductive Care Center. If it weren’t for them we wouldn’t have any children.

I’ve worked for Packaging Corporation of America for the past 15-½ years. I love my job and am now the plant accountant. Even with this and raising a family I still manage to squeeze in a college course every semester. I just love school so much I never want it to end! I will have my degree by the time I am forty and hopefully won’t have forgotten it all when my kids ask for help with their homework.

Well, enough about me, I can’t wait to see everyone. It’s really fun to read what everyone is doing and has been doing the past 20 years. I’m looking forward to the reunion.

I would love to hear from my old friends! Here is my email address: utmingos@yahoo.com
See you all soon!

LISA (LINDSLEY) JACKMAN - I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jason, since New Year’s Eve 2006. We were both married once before and are certain we did it right this time! He went to T-ville, class of 1990, and gives me a hard time for not noticing him when I was a Senior! We have no children (none that we know of anyway!) just a cat and a dog that don’t get along with each other. We live in Herriman and spend our free time watching HGTV. Since high school I have worked a variety of places, including running my own wedding business. Currently, I work in corporate America for Zions Bancorp and I’m still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up! For now, I’m enjoying spending time with my husband and looking forward to seeing everyone again!

MATT LARRABEE
- I'm an actuary living in Portland, OR, after having spent much of the past fifteen years living in Washington, DC and Boston. I lead the Portland retirement plan practice of a global consulting firm, which basically means I am King of the Nerds. (Simply being crowned Nerd King is overwhelming. Getting paid for the honor is over the top.)
Married for 13 years to a wonderful mother to our two small boys, ages 3 and 1. My wife is a physician who cares for sick and premature newborns. Our favorite days in the world are those spent at the Oregon Coast wandering on the beach with our kids, cooking up a gourmet meal and enjoying a bottle of Oregon Pinot.
Sorry we won't get a chance to catch up with folks at the reunion (my 3 year old on a plane = snakes on a plane), but we send our best wishes and hope everyone has a great time. I'm sure you will --- parties are rarely ruined by not having the math geek show up! paigeandmatt@yahoo.com

MEREDITH (MACKAY) CAMERON - Hey everyone! Can't believe it's time for the big "20". I'm looking forward to seeing you all next summer and some of you hopefully sooner than that! I am so happy that I've been able to stay in touch with so many of you and that time has had no effect on our friendships. You guys are GREAT!!!! Anyhoo....I'm doing well. My girls and I live in the West Jordan/Taylorsiville area. My oldest daughter Kiara is in 7th grade at Bennion Jr. High and my little Maddie is in fourth grade at Bennion Elementary. Kiara is a female version of her dad which is great. She has his smile, his attitude, and his sense of humor. She is involved in student government at school and is a fantastic student (still don't know where she gets that from). She is also a pretty good little softball player and does tumbling. Maddie is more like me, but cooler and much cuter than I ever was. She is really into dance and is actually performing in the Nutcracker this year with Ballet West. She does ballet, tap, and jazz and is also way into soccer. I spend most of my time in the car running them around the valley to lessons and games. You all know what I'm talking about! I enjoy it though and I'm glad I'm able to be there for all those things! As for me, I'm good. Life is not how I expected it to be at this point in my life, but I'm doing just fine. Well, that's about it for me! I can't wait to hear what the rest of you have been up to!

MICHELLE (HENKEL) ORTON - Well I am glad to have found the blog and it is great to read about all of you and your lives after high school. Life has been awesome for me and as you can see I have 5 children. Two were ahhhh nat-ur-al and the other three mostly through Mastercard (adopted). I will be married for 19 years this September to my after high school sweetheart. We have lived in a lot of places including, Boise Idaho, Lindon Utah, Las Vegas Nevada, San Diego California, and now we are in Santa Clara Utah (St. George). We have been really blessed and so I have had the chance to spend my time doing the fun things while my husband works. I mostly chase my kids around and am the designated taxi driver but I do find some time to travel, do charity work, and run a few triathlons. I still love to swim whenever I get a chance. I am really looking forward to the reunion and seeing you all there. It will be fun to get reacquainted and share some time together.

MICHELLE (TURNER) KERSHAW - Wow, 20 years already, who knew time could go so fast. We live in West Jordan which is not too far from where I grew up. After graduation I started working at American Express, where I met my husband Ron. He is a bit older than me and graduated from Granite High School in 1984. We have been married for 18 years, and have three beautiful daughters. Ron still works for American Express (for now, his job will be outsourced in November). I worked at AMEX for a few years and have moved jobs quite a bit. I work at Zions Bancorporation where I am an Administrative Assistant, which I really enjoy. I did not go to college, but know I need to, so I start in August. Nothing like starting over after 20 years. Kelsey (17) is starting her senior year at West Jordan and will also be attending Jordan Applied Technical College (a division of SLCC). She will have her CNA by January. She is a great kid who works really hard in school and knows exactly what she wants to do. (I still haven't figured that out yet) She works at Jamba Juice in Jordan Landing, so stop by for a smoothie. She will hook you up. We joke all the time about how we are going to school together. Karley (14) is starting her 9th grade year at Elk Ridge Middle School. She is an amazing student and gets straight A's. She loves to hang out with her friends. She played baseball this year for the first time, and her team took second place in her league. She was 1 of only 2 girls in the league. Karley is very athletic and loves to play all kinds of sports. Ronni (11) is starting her 6th grade year at Terra Linda. She is the sweetest kid you would ever want to meet. She is very athletic, she plays softball (she talked me into being the coach, and boy was that fun), basketball, and anything else she can do that is athletic. We are a very close family and really love to hang out together. I am looking forward to catching up with people at the reunion. michelle.kershaw@zionsbancorp.com

PAMELA (WEIGHT) WERTZ - 20 years!!! No way! After finally graduating from BYU in 95, I landed a job in Vegas that actually had something to do with my major, Elementary Physical Education. Vegas was the Bomb! That was a great place to be single. I actually got married in Vegas...(but not on the strip) My husband talked me into moving to his hometown way down at the bottom of New Mexico a year after our daughter was born. I loved my job (the BEST job in the World....teaching kids how to play) After I had my daughter (Milinda 8) I wanted to stay at home and spend as much time as I could with her. So my husband promised to get a teaching degree and start a construction business with his brother if we moved to Deming. So here I am with 2 more kids (Byron 5 and Brianna 3) and I get to stay at home with them while Troy gets to work 2 jobs. That was a pretty sweet deal. I just went up to Utah last week to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Going up to Utah for a 2nd time this summer is not going to happen, so I wish you well and hope you all have a great time.
